The Word Of God
Psalm 119:105- "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." When I am climbing in the early morning darkness, I use a very bright headlamp. This gives me enough light to stay on the path- enough light to take the next right step. Several times over the years my battery has died mid-climb. When this happens I will twist my ankles or lose my balance dozens of times from taking a wrong step. When fresh or blowing snow has covered the ground, I often lose my way and wander 'off trail' a number of times.
You see, a headlamp is not a luxury. I NEED the light. The same is true for all of us as we meet the challenges of life. The Word of God gives just enough light for you to stay on the right path and to take the next right step. This is God's promise.You will ALWAYS have enough light to TAKE THE NEXT RIGHT STEP. Keep your heart and mind anchored in the Word of God, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
