Stay On His Path
The temperature warmed up to −5° yesterday, so I decided to break in a snowshoe trail. This serves two purposes. First, the snow where I've broken trail will 'set up' and become hard and thereby easier to walk on. Second, the next time we get a big snow dump my trail will still be visible.
Having a path to follow, especially in the dark or in white-out conditions, is a tremendous advantage. When following a river or a mountain valley, a skilled woodsman will never get lost, but it is an easy thing to lose your camp, miss a turn, or even wander around in circles in bad weather.
Psalm 37:23 says, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in Him." When your steps are firm, you walk with confidence- with the assurance that you are going the right way. Stay on HIS path. Don't veer to the left or to the right, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
