Bring Revival
The temperature is a balmy 5° and it's snowing again. First, the clouds move in, hovering over the mountains, then the heat rises, and then the outpouring begins. Years ago on the Isle of Lewis in the New Hebrides, a spontaneous worship service was finally dispersing close to midnight. God had been stirring the hearts of the people for many weeks. A young man told pastor Duncan Campbell, "The Spirit is hovering over us." They opened the church doors and invited the people back in.
Something had changed. The spiritual temperature in the room was off the charts, and then the outpouring began. It was the beginning of a heaven sent revival. At the time, not one single young person on the whole island had been attending church. For months a few men had been praying from 10 PM to 2 AM after spending their day at work in the coal mines. They were joined by two elderly sisters, one of them blind. God had given Peggy, the blind sister, a vision of the streets crowded with young people praising God.
How great is your burden for this generation? Are you willing to pray and keep praying? Friends, revival begins with US- with Christ's church! Jesus said, "Blessed are those who HUNGER and THIRST for RIGHTEOUSNESS, for they will be FILLED." Pray with me- "Lord Jesus, set my heart on fire. Help me to hunger and thirst for your righteousness. Pour out your Spirit and bring revival- first to my heart and then to this land!" Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
