Good Things Will Come
Hunting moose in the timber is far from ideal, yet I've 'stumbled upon' legal bulls several times in my life. I was a little frustrated with my day. It had taken a long drive and a lot of work to get deep into those mountains, and the low clouds had driven me out of my hunting spot. To make things worse, my ATV had a flat tire and I was literally driving on 3 wheels and a rim.
I still had a day and a 1/2 to hunt, so I reset my camp and started sneaking through the brush and timber. Then I saw him. It was a legal bull walking fast away from me through the timber. As I quietly rushed through the trees to try to keep him in sight, I was almost in disbelief that I was following a good bull. There are times in life when something good comes when or where we least expect it.
Nowhere has this been more true in my life than when I'm sharing my faith in Christ. It is often the person who I least expect who is hungry for God. This is why Galatians 6:9 tells says, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Don't be discouraged. Don't give up.
Continue to do the right thing. When YOU are faithful, GOD is faithful. Tell people about Jesus. Invite them to church. Tell them what God has done in your life. Sooner or later, perhaps when you least expect it, good things will come! Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
