Share Your Faith

There is a certain sense of satisfaction that farmers and gardeners and hunters and fishermen get from 'living off the land.' My moose was home, but the work was far from over. Hundreds of pounds of steak, roasts and ribs needed to be cut and wrapped, and all of the scrap needed to be ground into burger. Add another day of work. On top of all of this, my hunting and camping gear needed to be cleaned, dried, sorted, repacked and put away. Finally, after four richly blessed long days, I was able to sit down and exhale.

There is a certain satisfaction we get from completing a tough job, and particularly from a job well done. Jesus has given us our most important job. He has called us to be WORKERS in God's harvest field. He has called us to share the good news of a Savior to our families, communities, region and world. This is our FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT work. Certainly other things matter.

We are also called to provide for our family and to care for the needs of others. But even those things are a part of our sharing Jesus with the world. Whatever you do today, give it your very best. But don't forget to invite people to church, to minister to the hurting, and to look for opportunities to share your faith. Live this way and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
